Before the Summit, I spoke with a loyal Lawtech delegate. She cheerfully told me that her summit highlight has always been meeting like-minded people, sharing war stories and exploring new ideas with those who work in legal IT. I think she is totally right. It is indeed wonderful to be surrounded by fellow professionals who understand your entire journey, from your joy when an IT project launches successfully, to your pain when you face seemingly unsolvable challenges such as those caused by legacy systems.
