The Current State of HIPAA: Reviewing Our 2020 HIPAA Compliance Benchmark Survey Results

Join us on Oct. 22 as we review the results of our HIPAA compliance benchmark survey on the state of HIPAA programs.

Live webinar: Thursday, Oct. 22, 2:00 – 3:00 PM EDT

This presentation will focus on the current state of HIPAA compliance programs as a result of findings from the recently conducted 2020 SAI Global and Strategic Management Services HIPAA Compliance Benchmark Survey. The survey was designed to gain an understanding of the nature and level of commitment that healthcare organizations are making to HIPAA compliance in 2020.

Catie Heindel, managing senior consultant and Lisa Shuman, senior consultant from Strategic Management Services will report on the survey results and provide an analysis of the data.

The presentation of the survey results will address the following HIPAA topic areas:

  • HIPAA program structure, responsibility and oversight
  • Business associate agreements
  • HIPAA program assessment and priorities
  • Investigations, breaches, disciplinary actions

All attendees and registrants will receive exclusive access to the digital report and online experience.

This education activity has been submitted to the Compliance Certification Board (CCB®) and is currently pending their review for approval of CCB CEUs.
