The FDA incorporated the Risk-Based Preventive Controls into FSMA requirements.
Regulators have implement preventive controls to apply the risk analysis concept and minimize the risk of producing unsafe food products. According to ISO "Risk is the effect of uncertainty on objectives" and now audits are also moving to this approach.
