SAI Global is proud to announce its support of International Petroleum (IP) Week which takes place from 21st - 23rd February 2017 in London. IP Week is hosted by the Energy Institute, the professional body for the energy industry which supports more than 250 companies and 23,000 individuals working in, or studying, energy worldwide to develop and share knowledge, skills and good practice towards a safe, secure and sustainable energy system. IP Week is one of the most important events in the global oil and gas calendar and is attended by more than 2,000 oil and gas industry experts, operators, clients and investors from around the world.
The event provides an opportunity for attendees to review the state of affairs from both a global and local perspective, as well as providing a robust platform for key decision makers to debate, learn, discuss and share knowledge on current issues shaping the future direction of the industry.
As a leading supplier of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) management solutions to the oil, gas and energy industry, participation in IP week provides SAI Global with an opportunity to join forces with some of the sector's most respected thought-leaders, access the latest insights and hear directly from operators about the biggest issues they face today. The knowledge gained from this event will help SAI Global enhance and develop the services provided to clients in the oil, gas and energy industry.
During IP Week, SAI Global's Australian-based Chief Risk Officer, and GRC expert, Nicole Grantham is hosting a round table discussion to debate the key risks faced by the industry and share insights on how organisations can take a holistic approach to enterprise risk management to ensure ongoing business sustainability and compliance.
"SAI Global is delighted to participate in International Petroleum Week. It provides us with an invaluable opportunity to share our views on how businesses operating in the Oil and Gas Industry can manage their risk intelligently and effectively to support sustainable growth, even when operating within the challenges of a low oil price environment."
