Digital completion and submission of Duties and FHOGs forms

November 20, 2019

In a step towards reducing red tape, Revenue NSW are redesigning their Duties and FHOGs forms to allow for digital completion and submission.

You will see familiar forms with the signature requirement removed and replaced with a declaration tick box.

The removal of signatures and the addition of a declaration complies with both the Taxation Administration Act 1996 and the First Home Owner Grant (New Homes) Act 2000.

The declaration is confirmation that the information provided is true and correct and the ramifications of non-compliance remain.

If clients require further information they can contact the EDR Support team 1300 308 863 or email  edr@revenue.nsw.gov.au or the Duties Enquiries team ph 1300 139 814 or email duties@revenue.nsw.gov.au.
