Compliance Book Club: Fireside Chat with Rob Chesnut, Author of “Intentional Integrity”

SAI Global’s Compliance Book Club is a community initiative that brings ethics, compliance, and risk professionals together around a book we think you’ll love, and invites everyone to participate in a live Q&A and discussion with the author.

For our third meeting, and as part of our celebration of the fifth annual International Compliance Officer Day, Sept. 26, we’ve chosen “Intentional Integrity: How Smart Companies Can Lead an Ethical Revolution” by Robert Chesnut.

“Intentional Integrity: How Smart Companies Can Lead an Ethical Revolution” by Robert ChesnutRob Chesnut was General Counsel and Chief Ethics Officer with Airbnb, Inc., a $30 billion private global travel and payments company that operates an online marketplace and hospitality service for people to rent short-term lodging including homes, apartments and rooms, and to participate in local experiences. Rob is also a graduate of Harvard Law School and the University of Virginia. He worked for 14 years with the U.S. Justice Department, including 10 years as an Assistant United States Attorney in Northern Virginia.

In Intentional Integrity, Chesnut offers a six-step process for leaders to foster and manage a culture of integrity at work. He explains the rationale and legal context for the ethics and practices, and presents scenarios to illuminate the nuances of thinking deeply and objectively about workplace culture.

“Rob is an insider who's combined doing good with doing business well in two iconic Silicon Valley companies. His book contains smart, practical advice for anyone looking to do good and do well.”
―Reid Hoffman, co-founder of Linkedin and author of Blitzscaling
