First, my heart goes out to the millions of fellow humans who have suffered this year because of the pandemic and social injustice.
During these difficult times, new and hopeful patterns are emerging in business ethics. As we live with uncertainty, corporate leaders are not simply communicating more, they are communicating better; as we work remotely, they are not simply providing technical support but much needed emotional support. Companies everywhere are embracing their values of trust, respect and collaboration.
May 2020 offer this silver lining: that the new normal will be more human than the old one.
