Update to MPR guidance notes

From today, 25th February, Version 5 of the Model Participations Rules (MPR) and the Model Operating Rules (MOR) come into effect. As a result of this all the MPR Guidance Notes have been update and are now available on the ARNECC website

 

MPR Guidance Note #6 - Compliance Examinations (Updated)

This Guidance Note provides advice to Subscribers on how and when they can expect a compliance examination to be conducted of their compliance with the Version 5 Model Participation Rules.

 

MPR Guidance Note #5 - Retention of Evidence (Updated)

This Guidance Note provides advice and assistance to Subscribers on retaining evidence to support conveyancing transactions in accordance with the Version 5 Model Participation Rules.

 

MPR Guidance Note #4 - Right to Deal (Updated)

This Guidance Note provides advice and assistance to Subscribers on determining the right of a transacting party to enter into a conveyancing transaction in accordance with the Version 5 Model Participation Rules.

 

MPR Guidance Note #3 - Certifications (Updated)

This Guidance Note provides advice and assistance to Subscribers on providing the certifications required when signing documents in accordance with the Version 5 Model Participation Rules.

 

MPR Guidance Note #2 - Verification of Identity (Updated)

This Guidance Note provides advice and assistance to Subscribers and mortgage lenders on verifying the identity of a transacting party in a conveyancing transaction in accordance with the Version 5 Model Participation Rules. It has been updated to include advice on using an Australian Embassy/High Commission/Consulate to verify the identity of an Australian or foreign national overseas.

MPR Guidance Note #1 - Client Authorisation (Updated)

This Guidance Note provides advice and assistance to Subscribers on obtaining authorisation to represent a transacting party in a conveyancing transaction in accordance with the Version 5 Model Participation Rules. 

Please make sure you are using the revised versions of Client Authorisation forms available in the following formats;

 

Client Authorisation - Representative Terms (PDF) (MPR Version 5)

These are the terms of the Client Authorisation - Representative applying once the completed form has been signed by the transacting party or parties being represented in a conveyancing transaction and their Subscriber.            

 

Client Authorisation - Representative Flatform (PDF) (MPR Version 5)

This is a standard version of the Client Authorisation - Representative form for standalone use by Subscribers in preparing and printing a Client Authorisation - Representative for signing by the transacting party or parties being represented in a conveyancing transaction and the Subscriber.

 

Client Authorisation - Representative Flatform (MS Word) (MPR Version 5)

This is a standard version of the Client Authorisation - Representative form for integrated use in Subscriber documentation systems.
