Authority Update - VIC - Further forms added to duty SmartForms

The Victorian State Revenue Office (SRO) have announced they will be decommission an additional 5 Landholder and land transfer duty forms in paper. These will be added to the SRO New Digital Duties Form from Monday 19th June 2017.

These forms are as follows;

Duties-form-45Corporate reconstruction exemption application
Duties-form-52Corporate consolidation exemption application
Duties-form-58Section 83 - Landholder acquisition statement
Duties-form-59 Application for registration as a wholesale unit trust scheme or an imminent wholesale unit trust scheme or a declared wholesale unit trust scheme 
Duties-form-60Application for registration as a declared public unit trust scheme

    

From 1 August 2017 it will be mandatory to create the following forms in digital duties online and the pdf versions will not be accepted.

Other SRO forms are still expected to be completed in paper, although these are expected to be phased out over time.
