Authority update QLD: Transition period for Form 2 Mortgages ends Friday 2nd March

The National Mortgage Form (NMF) was introduced in Queensland on 27 May 2017 to replace the Form 2 - Mortgage for paper mortgages.

The  transition period during which Form 2 Mortgages can still be used ends on Friday 2 March 2018.

A Form 2 Mortgage will be accepted for lodgement after 2 March 2018 only when one of the parties had executed the form prior to that date.

Changes to Mackay Titles Registry lodgement business hours

From Monday 26 March 2018, the Mackay Business Centre of the Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy (DNRM) will only accept Titles Registry lodgements during the following hours on normal business days:

Monday to Friday 

10:00 am to 12:00 noon and
1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

As an alternative to lodging at the Mackay counter, regular customers are encouraged to consider eConveyancing and/or eLodgement.  Information on eConveyancing and eLodgement can be located at
