Authority Updates - Queensland - February 2017

The Department of Natural resources and Mines (DNRM) are making changes to payment and correspondence options.

What's changing?

  • Payments - From 1 March 2017 DNRM will no longer accept credit card payments via facsimile
  • Correspondence - From 1 March 2017 DNRM will no longer process correspondence received by facsimile


This changes is being implemented to reduce the risk of fraudulent transactions. 

For more information on security standards please see Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCIDSS), these standards are now mandatory across government departments.

What's required?

  • Payments - Customers who have previously made payment with credit card details by facsimile, your payment options are now as follows:

- e-Lodgement payments - call e-Lodgement Enquiries on 1300 255 616 for alternate payment methods.
- Invoices - alternative options for making payment will be listed on new invoices issued.
- Search/other titles related payments  
- By telephone: Titles Enquiries:  1300 255 750 
- Payment in person at any DNRM office. Any of the locations listed here will accept payment for lodgements and/or searches in person

  • Correspondence - Customers should contact DNRM in writing at or send your correspondence via post to GPO Box 1401 Brisbane 4001.
