Data

Materials Infobase contains detailed information on tens of thousands of materials and products. It covers polymers, rubbers, resins, adhesives, fibres, ceramics, additives, pre-pregs, semi-finished products and more. All the information is taken from manufacturer data sheets.

Electronic searching allows for quick identification and comparison of a material's mechanical, physical, electrical, impact, thermal and processing properties. You can compare materials using a range of properties to find alternative materials to suit your needs. Also included are tens of thousands of bibliographic records of standards relevant to the materials world.

Helpful software specially designed and written by ILI for the materials engineer allows users to get the most out of the database.

You can locate materials using many different fields depending on the piece of information you hold.

You can monitor materials and standards for updates and changes with considerable ease. This facility is specifically designed with ISO 9000 audits in mind. You can add your own searchable notes against any record to list pertinent information such as the supplier used, the in-house expert, relevant contracts, the price paid etc. You can even add your own records to the database. ILI have assembled the best materials database available but there may be some not publicly available materials that you may want to add.
