Using a single sign-on, our PPSR search service will allow you to perform:
- Four types of search;
- Registration number
- Serial number
- Grantor (including by Event Date Range)
- Ordinal Search (determining the relative order of two registration events)
- Filtering of search results (applies to searching by Grantor);
- Retrieving attachments and the change history for the registration(s) returned in a search;
- Retrieving previous searches that have expired to allow for further processing - official documents of the appropriate form, as defined by the Act and provided by the Registrar.

What is PPSR and when will it be available?
Due to Personal Property Security (PPS) reform (Personal Property Securities Act 2009), the laws and registers regarding personal property security interests from the different Commonwealth, States and Territories are being consolidated under one national system – and one national PPS register.
The PPSR allows lawyers, insolvency practitioners, lenders and other businesses to search the PPSR to find out if a security interest is registered over the personal property and also register security interests if a secured party.
The PPSR is online, available in real time and accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.
Released on the 30th January 2012, the online national register (PPSR) is available through SAI Global Property’s Search Manager – making your searches and registrations easier, more convenient and lower cost - by reducing the search time associated with personal security transactions.
