Brisbane, Australia - October 20, 2011 - ACI and SAI Global are pleased to announce the SAI Global Certified Compliance Professional (CCP) Scholarship which will be given each year to an outstanding senior professional in governance, risk and compliance.
Sponsored by SAI Global, the CCP Scholarship seeks to identify and support governance, risk and compliance talent by funding the completion of ACI’s residential CCP program and providing the opportunity to publish their research project as a white paper with SAI Global.
“Apart from gaining practical knowledge on best practice from around the world in governance, risk and compliance, participants also benefit from learning and networking with today’s leaders in these fields. CCP qualifications provide excellent career pathways to high-level management positions with corporations who are increasingly looking for candidates with the know-how on managing issues in the complex regulatory landscape,” says Martin Tolar, CEO, ACI.
The recipient of the SAI Global CCP Scholarship will be based on a review of applicants' governance, risk and compliance career history, qualifications, career ambitions, an article on a topical governance, risk and compliance issue and two written references from recognised individuals within the profession.
The respected CCP program is an intensive five-day accredited course delivered by leading industry experts. The course delivery is based on a Harvard Case Study learning model and comprises of syndicate work and peer reviews, followed by a final assessment based on a real workplace problem.
Submissions for the SAI Global CCP Scholarship will open in November, closing 31 January 2012 with the inaugural Scholarship winner announced in February 2012.
