The SAI Global Compliance Division was formed in January, 2007 following the acquisitions of Easy i in May, 2005; Lawlex (Anstat) in August, 2005; and Midi in January, 2007. In order to meet the evolving needs of compliance, ethics, legal and risk management professionals around the world SAI Global acquired 80-20 Software in February, 2008; Syrus Global in April, 2009; Cintellate Software in October, 2009; and Integrity Interactive in September, 2010.
Each of these companies had a history of entrepreneurship and innovation, and deep experience in different aspects of the compliance, ethics, risk management and governance business. Together, they form a network of capabilities that allow SAI Global to provide a broad range of compliance, ethics, risk management and governance solutions around the world.
Founded in 1991, Easy i was an international training consultancy focusing on compliance and risk management. Easy i’s interactive, flexible training solutions were based on innovative instructional design and helped businesses communicate a wide range of compliance issues such as information security, data protection and privacy, financial crime and business ethics. With operations in the UK and North America, Easy i established a global client base of major corporations.
Lawlex specialized in three separate services - a subscription based online service that updates clients on changes to Australian legislation, GRC software, and implementation consulting services.
Founded in the US in 1984, Midi began delivering ethics and compliance solutions in 1990. Its mission was to enable ethical business conduct through workforce, management and Director level communication and training as dictated by the Federal Sentencing Guidelines, Sarbanes-Oxley, and various other regulatory requirements. Midi’s instructional design leadership has been recognized with many awards and has been imitated by many competitors, particularly for its video-based Storytorial courses and behavior-reinforcing Ethical Moments®. Both Easy i and Midi provided their awareness training in multiple languages, formats and delivery methods.
The acquisition of 80-20 Software added a second GRC software product along with a substantial client base.
Syrus Global, originally named Listen Up when it was formed in 2002, was built on the belief that enterprises would be stronger and more resilient with a high-quality Web and phone hotline and ethics reporting system and case management software.
Cintellate, established in 1994, is the leading software provider of environment, health and safety (known as EH&S or SH&E) and risk management software. This software platform supports a wide range of modules and is deployed by regulatory compliance, operational and risk managers to bring accountability and transparency into business processes and procedures in multiple industries. Cintellate's powerful technology platform provides multiple opportunities for superb management of compliance risks as well as an offering a stable and highly effective approach to GRC management.
SAI Global's most recent acquisition in 2010 of Integrity Interactive solidifies SAI Global's unparalleled leadership in providing to clients the flexible, dynamic and fully featured standalone and integrated products and services that they desire. Integrity, established in 1999, is a world leader in compliance and ethics training, advisory services and third party risk management technology with some of the world's leading and most recognizable brands as clients.
