This learning cycle has been operationalised through the PDSA (Plan, Do, Study, Act) or Shewhart cycle which is used for the learning and improvement of relationships, service, product or process.

Our Approach
SAI Global works with your organisation to identify PDSA Champions who will undertake four (4) days of skills acquisition in the PDSA improvement process. Our PDSA toolset provides your team with the ability to - address identified problems using appropriate techniques, accelerate improvements in your organisation and recognise high impact, effective outcomes.The PDSA program covers the below steps:
Skills Acquisition (4 days)
Your PDSA Champions are identified and allocated to teams and learn to apply techniques to identified improvement opportunities. The learning is delivered in an action learning format where the teams will progress the opportunities during the workshops.
Coaching (2 days)
The two days of coaching for each team helps them further progress improvement opportunities and complete activities engaging broader participation within your organisation.
To guide the process, SAI Global provides your team with a roadmap template of the Improvement Cycle, to assist in the planning, implementation, review and standardisation of improvement activities. The template also provides your team with a list of appropriate improvement tools, which along with the Toolbook provided to PDSA Champions, guides your team throughout the cycle.
