Prioritisation
SAI Global develops its approach to prioritisation using two considerations for each improvement opportunity:
- Strategic Impact - the potential of the improvement opportunity to influence the performance of the organisation with respect to long term goals
- Urgency - how quickly action is required on the improvement opportunity to address the current improvement needs of the organisation
A prioritisation workshop is typically conducted after a formal assessment where opportunities have been identified and collated. The workshop guides your leadership team towards a clear decision and action plan and to:
Facilitate the organisation’s understanding of all the opportunities for improvement;
Prioritise the opportunities to systematically determine resource allocation;
Facilitate action planning against specific findings; and
Determine how best to drive improvement within the organisation given its current capability and resources.
