Overview
The Business Excellence Framework and it’s principles create a holistic approach to understanding key aspects of effective and sustainable organisational improvement. The seven categories of the Framework form a structure that guides organisations to effectively review and analyse their leadership and management systems. To achieve business improvement and sustainable excellence, organisations must develop sound systems and processes that integrate all seven categories .
Assessment against the Framework provides a strategic understanding of the strengths and opportunities for business improvement and helps businesses to prioritise and address these opportunities for sustainable organisational excellence.
Our Approach
SAI Global provides monthly coaching sessions to your organisation’s executive team to guide their journey towards business excellence.
Coaching Day 1
This four hour session is designed to confirm your team’s understanding of, and commitment to, the Business Excellence Framework and the Achieving Sustainable Excellence (ASE) model. An understanding of the ASE model is essential to drive effective outcomes through the adoption of the Framework. The session includes:
An introduction to the Framework from a governance perspective;
Identification of your organisation’s existing activities as aligned to the ASE model and their impact on organisational outcomes; and
Definition of the executive team’s role in promoting continuous improvement and in driving the implementation of the ASE Program.
This initial session is then followed by an afternoon coaching session on the ADRI Assessment Matrix. The matrix is used to assess organisational performance against the Framework to form a learning cycle. The matrix covers:
Þ Approach – identifies your organisation’s intent for an Item Þ Deployment – identifies those planned activities supporting the improvement strategy Þ Results – the performance indicators that measure the effectiveness of an Approach and its Deployment Þ Improvement – the process by which Approach and Deployment are reviewed and adapted to achieve improved results |  |
Coaching Days 2 to 8
Each monthly coaching session will include a structured half day workshop for the executive team in a group learning format; and individual coaching sessions to support team completion of the self-assessment and to identify the associated improvement activities. SAI Global develops your team’s internal capabilities to conduct assessments and guides the organisation’s focus on achieving sustainable excellence.
Ongoing Coaching
Individual managers may require additional support in developing their understanding of the Framework. An experienced coach will be available to provide support and guidance on an “as needed” basis.
