Overview
Organisations at the forefront of applying effective management systems are seeking to improve how those systems are managed and aim to answer the following questions:
1. How to make the process more efficient to minimise the disruption to the workplace?
2. How do I establish a culture and system that encourages people to do their best, not just the bare minimum?
3. How do I maximise the positive impact on my stakeholders?
The ICIS program helps forward thinking organisations achieve all three of these priorities. Developed from extensive consultations with customers, the program serves to integrate key management systems to minimise process duplication and enhance continuous improvement.
ICIS Principles and Process
The principles of the program recognise that output from any system affects all stakeholders to some extent. These outputs can be interpreted as desirable or undesirable dependant upon the stakeholder’s viewpoint. It is important that organisational resourcing decisions are based on maximising the overall level of desirable outcomes and minimising the overall level of undesirable outcomes. Achieving this balance right requires careful attention to the criteria that defines any integrated management system.
SAI Global’s ICIS program offers a single framework to effectively strike a balance between your organisation’s management of Quality, the Environment, OH&S and Continuous Improvement. Additional criteria – e.g. Food Safety or Aged Care Accreditation, can be integrated into the framework as required. The outcome of the ICIS program is the achievement of a single platform against which you can assess organisational performance, guide improvement and demonstrate competence to stakeholders.
