About the Program
Sunoco requires its contractors to implement a management system for health, environment and safety (HES) that addresses all requirements included in the Sunoco Contract Service Provider HES and OI Checklist. The components of the management system are:

Sunoco contractors are required to partner with an independent third party, like QMI – SAI Global, to verify their HES management system has been implemented. The registration body must be accredited by ANAB to conduct HES audits and use (at minimum) certified ISO 14001 auditors to conduct the audits. SAI Global has chosen audit teams that also include health and safety certified team members in order to provide the highest value and credibility to audits.
