To gain an SAI Global Advanced Diploma Environmental Management Systems you will need to complete the following environmental modules, all designed for direct application back to the workplace. To gain this qualification participants must complete all in-class activities and relevant post course assessments satisfactorily.

PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE
Participants will need to be employed or have access to an organisation to conduct workplace based projects. It is assumed that participants will have sufficient standards of both written and oral English skills to deliver reports. Participants will need a thorough understanding of ISO 14001 or have completed the appropriate SAI Global prerequisite course.
SAI Global has a number of courses to assist participants with limited work experience in

LEAD AUDITOR IN ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
Receive concentrated and comprehensive training in the theory and practice of environmental auditing. Gain a practical understanding of the responsibilities of an Environmental Auditor, and the techniques and methodologies required to effectively audit an environmental management system.

Module 3 (3 Days)
ADVANCED GREENHOUSE GAS (GHG) COMPLIANCE
With the introduction of the Australian Government’s proposed Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme (CPRS), organisations will need to be able to effectively demonstrate their compliance in this newest area of environmental management systems. Working against theISO 14001 Standard (in particular sections 14064.1, 14064.2 & 14064.3), and with a strong focus on innovation and continuous improvement this course will help you understand the compliance requirements of quantifying & reporting on GHG emissions, removals, reductions and assertions.
