Day one:
- Overview of Quality Management Systems
- Quality Management System Audit Criteria
- Quality Management Principles
Day two:
- Managing an Audit Program
- Conducting On-Site Audit Activities
Purpose
This course is designed to provide concentrated and comprehensive training in the theory and practice of auditing quality management systems. It establishes the responsibilities of a quality auditor and the techniques and methodology that are required to effectively audit a quality management system.
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful Completion of this course participants should be able to:
- Demonstrate their capacity to apply quality management system audit principles and practices to ISO 9001;
- Outline the skills required for auditing quality management systems.
- Demonstrate the processes involved with managing audit programs, initiating an audit, preparing for an audit, conducting on-site audit activities, reporting on audit findings and conducting post-audit activities;
- Outline the personal and interpersonal skills required to conduct a management systems audit; and
- Demonstrate the appropriate oral, written and non-verbal communication techniques that are desirable for lead management systems auditors.
