International ISO 14064 Greenhouse Gas Standards

Organisations should develop their Greenhouse Gas assertions against the appropriate International Standard/s:

• For “entities” emitting Greenhouse Gases;
  ISO 14064.1, Greenhouse gases - Specification with guidance at the organisation level for quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions and removals or;
• For reduction “projects”:
  ISO 14064.2, Greenhouse gases - Specification with guidance at the project level for quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas emission reductions and removal enhancements.

These standards will provide you with the framework and guidance necessary to develop the critical components of any Assertion – the geographic “Boundary” and “Scope” of Greenhouse Gas emissions.
